These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases of crystal chandeliers, lighting fixtures, and related accessories (“Products”) from ELEGANT Lighting (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) via our website, catalog, or authorized retailers. By placing an order, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms provided at checkout.
1. Order Acceptance & Confirmation
- Your order is a request to purchase Products. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel orders (e.g., for incorrect pricing, out-of-stock items, or suspected fraud). You will receive an email confirmation upon order processing; shipment is confirmed only via a separate “shipping notification” with tracking details.
- Custom modifications (e.g., adjusted chain length, alternate crystal colors) require written confirmation. Such orders are final once production begins (typically within 2 business days of your approval) and are non-cancelable.
2. Payment Terms
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and Affirm (for installment plans). All payments are processed in U.S. Dollars.
- Prices exclude sales tax, which is calculated based on your shipping address and added at checkout. We may adjust prices due to errors or market changes, with notification via email.
- For installment plans, late fees or interest may apply per Affirm’s terms. Unpaid or declined payments may result in order cancellation, with a 10% restocking fee for processed orders.
3. Shipping & Delivery
- We ship to all 50 U.S. states. Standard shipping (5–7 business days) is free for orders over $500; orders under $500 incur a $29.99 fee. Expedited shipping (2–3 business days) is available for $59.99. Alaska, Hawaii, and territories require additional fees (contact support for quotes).
- Deliveries are made to your doorstep (curbside for large items). You must inspect Products upon delivery. Report damages, missing parts, or incorrect items within 48 hours via email (support@elegantlighting.com) with photos and your order number. Failure to do so may void replacement eligibility.
4. Returns & Refunds
- Eligible Products (non-custom, unused, in original packaging) may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping fees). Custom-modified items are non-returnable unless defective.
- To return, request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number via our website. Returns without an RMA or with missing parts/packaging will be rejected. You are responsible for return shipping; we recommend insured, trackable delivery.
- Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of receiving returned Products, credited to your original payment method.
5. Warranty
- All Products include a 5-year limited warranty for frame/structural defects (e.g., tarnishing, broken welds) and a 2-year warranty for crystals (covering chips or cracks from manufacturing defects).
- The warranty does not cover: (a) normal wear (e.g., minor scratches); (b) damage from improper installation, misuse, or accidents; (c) modifications without our approval; (d) bulbs (covered by manufacturer warranties).
- To claim warranty service, provide your order number, photos of the issue, and a description. We may repair, replace, or refund defective items at our discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website (images, descriptions, logos, designs) is owned by ELEGANT Lighting and protected by U.S. copyright/trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for indirect damages (e.g., installation costs, decor damage, inconvenience) from defective Products, delays, or cancellations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the affected Product.
- We are not responsible for damages from improper installation (follow included instructions or use our recommended installers) or exceeding weight limits (listed on each Product page).
8. Changes & Disputes
- We may update these Terms periodically; changes take effect upon posting to our website. Your continued purchases constitute acceptance of revised Terms.
- Disputes will first be resolved via negotiation. Unresolved issues will go to binding arbitration in Ohio (per the American Arbitration Association rules), waiving trial by jury.
